I wish, I could
Walk down the
Aisle of your mind,
And hug the
Little bunny
You've Been hiding.
Just to reassure her,
That everything is alright
And say, 'we'll make it'
No matter what.
I wish it could have
Been easier. Like-
Buy her an ice cream.
Make her comfortable.
Then pat on her back
And make her sleep on
My shoulder.
Just to give her
Some warmth she needs.
To make it through
The cold and lonely.
Even if it is for only
One night.
