Real Orphans

Only sleep
Can be a real
Homely refuge.

Without it,
You don't
Really belong-

To a day.
Neither,
To a night.

Not even to
Your home or
To yourself.

And maybe
That is why,
I suppose-

Nobody is as
Orphaned as,
The insomniacs.
