The Liberator

You're a soothing melody
That absolved me from
The tenacity of choking silence.

A luminance that dived into
The darkest corners stashed in
My devil's workshop.

From the stagnant state of disguise
You pulled me out and gave
A reason to move on and live.

Otherwise, I would have sat there,
In the corner of my own mind,
Contemplating and collecting dust.
