New Home

Without any;
Twist and turn.
Devoid of any;
Warmth or cold.
My days rolled by
Aimlessly.

Like a refugee
From the past.
To seek an asylum
In the future.
I was in a
Perpetual exile.

While time dictated
My expatriation.
I had nowhere to
Belong.

Then you came
Along...

Hands clasped.
Fingers intertwined.
Head on shoulder.

You've warped time
To hold me
In this moment.

And right now,
I'm not a refugee.
My exile has ended.
I've found a home..

In you.
